Where should I start?
Download AIcademy for iPhone or iPad, then tap Try a sample on the welcome screen for a free eight-card Biology session. It works offline without an account. When you’re ready to use your own notes, sign in and choose Use photos or notes.
What can I use for free?
Try the offline starter practice without an account. Sign in for three free AI study uses per day, shared across generation, material chat, coaching, and study plans, plus two grammar uses. AI uses also have a daily budget. Premium offers a larger daily allowance; it is not unlimited. Current plans and prices are shown in the app.
Which AP classes have starter practice?
AP Biology, AP Calculus AB, and AP U.S. History. The starter library includes six five-question mini-tests and 25 flashcards across these three courses. These are independently authored practice resources, not complete courses, official exam questions, or score predictions.
Can I use pictures of my notes?
Yes. Bring photos, screenshots, or pasted text to create a guide, five flashcards, and 5, 10, 15, or 20 quiz questions. Each study set can use up to three images and 12,000 text characters. Clear, detailed notes give the generator more material to work with.
What can I chat about?
Ask Carlisle about your generated study set, including its guide, cards, and quiz. The selected material is visible in the chat. Keep your original notes handy: chat is not a guaranteed search of the original upload, and AI can make mistakes. Chats last for the open session.
Can I practice an AP written response?
The practice coach offers three original preset prompts, one each for Biology, Calculus AB, and U.S. History. Type your reasoning, get AI feedback tied to your response, and try a revision. This is practice guidance, not official grading or an AP score prediction.
Can I study offline or with classmates?
Starter practice and downloaded study sets work offline, with unfinished practice saved on your device. AI generation, chat, and coaching need internet. For a group, join a shared library by invitation code to contribute notes, cards, and quizzes, and flag confusing content. Shared-library updates also need internet.
Can I trust every AI answer?
AI can make mistakes. Use explanations to work through a topic, and check important answers against your class notes, teacher’s guidance, and course resources.
