Overview
ShareClean is designed with privacy as its core principle. The app processes all photos entirely on your device. No data is collected, stored, transmitted, or shared with anyone.
Data Collection
ShareClean does not collect any data. Specifically:
- No personal data is collected
- No usage data is collected
- No analytics or tracking of any kind
- No crash reports are sent
- No network requests are made by the app
Photo Processing
All photo processing — including metadata stripping, resizing, compression, and format conversion — happens locally on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any server or transmitted over any network by the app.
Photo Library Access
ShareClean uses Apple's PhotosPicker API, which allows you to select specific photos without granting full library access. If you choose to use the "Scan My Library" feature, the app requests read access to your photo library solely to count photos containing GPS data. This scan happens on your device and no data leaves the app.
Third-Party Services
ShareClean does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.
Data Storage
ShareClean stores only your preferences (such as output format, resize setting, and cleanup preset) locally on your device using UserDefaults. No personal information is stored.
Children's Privacy
ShareClean does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
